Relocalize recognizes the impact of plastic use in our products and operations. As a startup, our immediate focus is on proving a commercially viable micro-factory and delivering products that meet customer expectations. While this limits our ability to invest in advanced packaging materials today, we have taken a temporary step by becoming Plastic Negative through our partnership with rePurpose Global—recovering twice as much plastic waste from the environment as we use in our products.
We don’t view this recovery as full compensation for the plastic we use, but as an interim measure. As we scale, we are committed to exploring better packaging solutions that align with the principles of a circular economy, reducing and ultimately eliminating reliance on single-use plastics.
