Water cold packs are simple to dispose of. Just cut open the pack and pour the water down the sink—it’s clean water with no gels, chemicals, or dyes. The outer film can then be placed in the regular trash.
To reduce waste, you can also refreeze and reuse the packs for coolers, picnics, or other everyday purposes. Over time, the film may show wear and could eventually leak, so it’s a good idea to check packs before reuse.
